KAYSO sees jump in numbers for spring season

KALKASKA — Things are looking up for the Kalkaska Area Youth Soccer Organization.
The league is coming off a strong spring season, with a rise in the number of players who participated, and enthusiasm is already running high for the fall.
KAYSO picked up 75 new players for the recently-completed season, bringing the total number for soccer players in the U6 to U12 age brackets to more than 160. Teams were able to play 10-12 games during the season.
