Kalkaska Baseball Field Project heads for home

KALKASKA — Kalkaska’s field of dreams is almost a reality.
The two-year Kalkaska Baseball Field Project is nearing completion as dugouts are the only thing left to make the field playable for an actual game.
Around $153,000 has been raised for the project thus far, with another $50,000 needed to put the finishing touches on what figures to be one of the finest baseball facilities in northern Michigan when all is said and done.
