Graduation marks end of high school career for KHS Class of 2021

KALKASKA — The 80-plus members of the Kalkaska High School Class of 2021 marked the end of their high school careers with commencement exercises Thursday, May 27.

And, it was not only a special moment for the graduates, but also KHS Principal Staci Short.

“I was their middle school principal, and they are officially my first graduating class,” Short said. “I have known many of them since they were 11 years old, and it was a pleasure to reconnect with them at the high school.”
