Forest Area tops Bellaire for first conference win

BELLAIRE — Forest Area’s first win in the Midwest Central Michigan 8-man Football Conference West Division couldn’t come soon enough as far as the Warriors are concerned.

Forest Area broke into the win column in league play on Saturday when it spoiled Bellaire’s Homecoming with a 36-24 victory.

The Warriors improved to 1-2 in the conference and 4-2 overall after a must-win for Brian Mumby’s squad.
