Fischer Insurance set to celebrate 50th year in business

REGION – Fischer Insurance, a fixture in northern Michigan’s Chain of Lakes region since 1969, is approaching its 50th year in business.

In anticipation, the firm has recently undergone a brand redesign, retooled its customer service processes, and launched business insurance products geared to protect niche businesses like craft beverages, environmental professionals, pollution, and the growing need for long term care insurance, to name a few.

“Expanding to cover niche markets requires specialized experience, thus we invest a lot of time learning the nuanced nature of these specific businesses so we can be a trusted, top level insurance provider,” said Mark Irwin, Fischer Insurance Principal.

Irwin attributes the agency’s 50-year milestone and success to its ability to keep pace with the ever-changing insurance market and technology requirements – and most importantly, their committed staff.
