Finishing on a high note

GRAND RAPIDS — Leighten Koepke packed a lot into her four years playing basketball at Davenport University.

It was a stretch of her life where struggle, growth, disappointment, triumph, sacrifice and perseverance were all part of the journey to where she is today — having completed her career with the Panthers on a high note and with graduation from school looming about a month away.

“These past four years have been the toughest years of my life,” said the former Bellaire standout. “But I honestly wouldn’t want it any other way.”
