Pete and Darcy Shetler, and their family, will be the featured farmers at this Saturday’s Shetler Dairy Farm Day, where visitors can tour the dairy barns and go on free hayrides. The event will run from noon to 3 p.m. on Aug. 26.

KALKASKA – The seven-acre corn maze at Shetler Family Farms opened on Aug. 12 and will remain open until Oct. 28, weather permitting.

The maze is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. when the last ticket is sold. It costs $7 per individual or $25 for a family of four or more. Children three and under are free, and the maze is stroller accessible.

The maze takes approximately 45 minutes to complete, and is comparable to Jacob’s Corn Maze in Traverse City, which is 10 acres in size.
