Ellsworth scored 255 points at the meet, putting it 25 points ahead of Ubly, which took fifth. Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart won the title with 126 points, followed by Pottersville (185) and Beal City (204). The Lancers’ fourth-place standing topped the 2007 Ellsworth team’s sixth-place finish — a squad that included current Lancers head coach Ruben Oviedo.
