COA gears up for more than $1.5 million in renovations

KALKASKA – The Kalkaska Senior Center, home of the Kalkaska County Commission on Aging, is usually full of the sounds of area seniors enjoying programs there, or just enjoying each other’s company, as well as taking advantages of numerous services provided by the local senior agency.
But, soon, the KCCOA will also be filled with the sounds of hammers and other tools pounding away, due to the projected start of more than $1.5 million in renovations over the coming months.
