CL Bus bond approved by voters

CENTRAL LAKE – With a turnout of just 252 votes from an eligible 2,988 registered voters in Central Lake, Torch Lake and Echo townships, a proposal that will allow the Central Lake Public School District to purchase four new school buses was approved during the only ballot issue in Antrim County on Tuesday, Aug. 8.

The proposal asking voters residing within the Central Lake School District was approved by a margin of 80 votes, with 166 in favor of the proposal and 86 against it.
