Central Lake improves to 4-0 with win over Onaway

ONAWAY — Central Lake watched as two Onaway players combined to pour in 52 points in Friday night’s boys basketball game.

But the Cardinals’ explosive duo still couldn’t match the Trojans as Central Lake earned an 84-75 win to improve to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the Ski Valley Conference.

Central Lake canceled out a 31-point night by Kevin Pearson and 21 points from Austin Nash by having four double figure scorers, led by Bret Dewey’s 23 points, Skyler Spangler’s 21 points, 13 from Grant Papineau and 12 from Ethan Kelly.
