Bounce back seasons take the next step

REGION — This was the year of the bounce back for football teams in Antrim County.

Central Lake-Ellsworth, Elk Rapids and Bellaire combined to go 7-20 a year ago. But last year seems like a distant memory for all three as each team turned it around this season to finish 9-0, 7-2 and 5-4, respectively. The reward for those turnarounds is getting to be a part of playoff football, with the first round of postseason action starting Friday night.
