Boater Safety Class

“About Boating Safety” is an eight-hour class for novice recreational boaters ages 12 and older. The class meets in two sessions: Thursday, Nov. 21 from 5:30-9 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 23, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. You must attend both classes to receive a boater safety certificate. Topics covered include boating safety and safety equipment, emergency procedures, navigation rules and aids, boating regulations, and charting. Cost is $10 to cover cost of book and certificate.
