Big-play Blazers best Benzie

KALKASKA — There was no shortage of big, scoring plays out of the Kalkaska football team on Friday night.
But among those, Nolan Mitchell had arguably the most important one.
Mitchell’s 72-yard burst to the end zone on the first play of the fourth quarter snapped Benzie Central’s momentum in the eight seconds it took Mitchell to fly down the sidelines and got the Blazers back on track in a 46-22 win over the Huskies.
