BELLAIRE – The Antrim Conservation District has a new district manager.

A native of southwestern lower Michigan, Wendy Warren is coming to the district with a "wealth of experience developing programs and finding integrated, creative solutions to make them successful," said ACD Board of Directors Chair Joe Pomerville.

"As a prior environmental manager at several organizations, she has had financial, human resource, implementation, and reporting responsibilities in a broad range of programs including soil erosion, agricultural conservation, forestry, hazardous waste, recycling, energy conservation and non-point source watershed planning," Pomerville said.

Those organizations include a position as executive director at Southwest Badger Resource Conservation & Development in Wisconsin, where she expanded services and increased the capacity of the organization to provide assistance to landowners and municipalities to improve their ability to implement conservation practices.
