9/11 Memorial Poster Walk
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of 9/11 the Central Lake District Library will have a memorial poster walk on the lawn of the library starting Wednesday, Sept. 1 thru Monday, Sept. 13 day and night. The educational exhibition recounts the events of September 11, 2001, through the personal stories of those who witnessed and survived the attacks. Told across 14 posters this exhibition includes archival photographs and images of the artifacts from the 9/11 Memorial Museum’s permanent collection. The library is also asking for the community to show their commitment to “Never Forget” by making a paper crane or a leaf to be put on the tree at the library. Stop by the library and get instructions and paper. This is all made possible by the 9/11 Memorial Museum and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
To read all the events and subscribe to the paper for just $36 a year, which includes access to our full online e-edition, please go to the subscription page on this website at: http://www.antrimreview.net/subscribe/
