KALKASKA – Officials at Kalkaska Public Schools know how generous local business can be, with community members having stepped up to contributing their time and money again and again over the years.
MANCELONA – Dan and Ann Steiner of Bellaire, and Grand Traverse Industries (GTI) in Mancelona held their annual Christmas Party last Thursday, Dec. 14, in memory of the Steiner's son, Todd, who was a client at GTI. He passed away in September 2015.

REGION – A Rapid City woman died when the car she was riding in was struck head on by another vehicle while traveling in Antrim County’s Elk Rapid Township shortly after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
